I haven't seen the Escort Cosworth Wheeler Dealers episode yet and can't decide whether that is spoiler genius or just terrible.
The 3rd blade will make rear vision poor ,it's absolutely fine with standard set up.
Agreed, I don't like it. 'Badly modified' is dubious, if anything it's the least modified design. They did this to pay homage to the designer, as a task it's worthy of respect, as a car to drive, I think it would be far too embarrassing The 3rd blade will make rear vision poor ,it's absolutely fine with standard set up.

Can't say I've ever been a fan of Mr Anstead or his work myself.
I was concerned that loosing Edd would spoil WD and to an extent it has, Edd was a character, Ant isn't. That said Ant is vastly superior as a master mechanic, Edd's answer to turbo's, fuel injection or cylinder head work was always to send it out. Ant takes jobs like that in his stride. Edd's efforts to increase his repertoire included buying a tyre balancing machine, nuff saidSwampy1982 said:

NOW THAT IS WHAT THIS THREAD IS ABOUT! Regarding the Audi TT , I do hope that one day everyone on PH learns to recognise a car on air ride or hydraulics and accepts that owners will almost always park their cars at the lowest setting where as that monstrosity posted by Matt is the definition of badly modified.
It looks like a strange attempt at fixing a car that had already had a rear end/quarter panel damage whilst trying to make a pickup. By retaining the slope saloon rear glass and roofline the proportions of the rear look wildly wrong as does the positioning of the rear wheels.

I looked at many of these several years ago and came to the conclusion that they all looked really bad with the hood up. In fact, chopping the roof off took away the coupes good looks.
The Ford Corsair looked better but they all suffered from floppy canvas.
The Cortina dropheads were OK too. It’s the coupes that just don’t work. A few years ago I saw a convertible Opel Manta. It looked b****y awful. The Ford Corsair looked better but they all suffered from floppy canvas.
