It looks quite chavvy, and anyone who actually wants a mk 4 golf has got a screw loose, but if the work all checks out, it should be quite decent.

A 1.8T, forged and stroked to 2.0 or otherwise, on a GT28RS won't make 500bhp. More like 350. Even a 2871R is only good for ~400.

Basically, horsest.

Agreed, wide bodied capris look great. It wouldn't take much to get that into an acceptable state.

Seems a bit confusing, it mentions having a 2.0 CUPRA R engine - which you would assume means a mk2 Cupra 2.0 TSFI engine, but then says it's 20V head has been rebuilt and has a picture of a 20vT engine with what looks like a S3 intake setup.

Granted though, with a giant Garrett GTX turbo it will make some impressive power

It's definitely a 20VT. Either he's using the very rare 2.0 20V bottom end (think it was only Passat's you could get them in) or it's one of the off-the-shelf crank, piston and rod kits.

A great deal of money for 200cc, slightly faster spool and basically no more power.

I think that's my biggest gripe with it too. There's just something so depressingly 'that'll do' when it comes to modifying/ 'tuning' companies in the UK. Again, sure someone will be along with flawless examples of something nailed together in Hemel Hempstead or wherever, but I just always wince at UK modified cars as there's always something that just looks so lazily chucked on.

I'm hoping it's the lighting/ poor reflections, but the diffuser looks on the wonk as well...

From that pic i though it didnt look too bad, just a set of spacers and non tinted rear lights away from looking rather OK in fact

But OMG those light effects and for some reason it looks stupidly high.
