That is tragic, about 20 years too late for the Max Power phase.

And welcome.

Wrong thread, that's an awesome chop. (when the time comes) I'd rather be seen dead in that to a Volvo S80

What is the logic with what has been done to the back seat area.. also is that the fuel cap in the boot? If so what an embarrassing experience visiting a petrol station would be!

Can you imagine some bloke in his garage, taking a couple of steps back and thinking "fk, yeah!"? Crazy.

Yeah, but probably nearer 40 years now, that was how people expressed themselves back in the seventies, nice to see stuff like that survive even if it does look a bit odd, love to see stuff like that.

I think the Capri is not period correct, those wide arches do not fit into the concept,

and what kind of wide axle found it´s way underneath ( assuming the track was not done with Lepu-sized spacers ) ?

Narrow, standard axles with self-made "Hi-Jackers" were the IN thing to mount,

the -now- visible underside of the tank had to be painted : Stars & Stripes, Confederate Flag, maybe Union Flag ?

Bonus points for a rear foglight mounted underneath, pointing downward.

It's a custom car, y'know, do your own thing. It doesn't have to conform to your, or anyone elses, design standards.

This whole thread is about doing your own thing and not conforming I guess. Some cars resonate with PH members, other don’t.
As far as I know the Capri is a ‘70’s survivor, so it was probably considered quite cool in its day. It’s now an anachronism I suppose.
