No.... its actually worse.

The 'outboard, inboard, Wombelling free, side exit exhaust' with the box mounted just above the speaker that is fixed through the floor... is that 'a thing' I'm just not going to understand, or is there logic there that I can't fathom?

Thought i'd quote the pic from the ad so others can see what it looks like - looks like a quick way to poison yourself if there's a leak / split?

Reminds of the late '90's / early '00's modification trend when some people decided it was the done thing to re-route the exhaust by cutting a massive hole in the boot floor and then having the tailpipe stick out where the licence plate recess was on the tailgate.

Possibly quite a capable bodywork man but not a good judge of taste. Also another tedious 'reality' TV wannabe.

It doesn’t look like he’s very big on aerodynamics either - what speed do you think it would take off at?

Side / high exhausts are fine if you have the engine back there IMO. But when you have a normal front engine car and contort it, just no.
Surely if they really wanted a side exit then either just behind the front wheel arch or run along the sill a la BTCC would be better?

Front engine with side exhaust. Looks ok to me.
