Seems to me that if you are going to do that, the top wheels at the back should be be touching both sets of lower wheels.
No they would lock up as the lower wheels would be driven in different directions
Um, nope.

I don’t know if this is badly modified or straight genius, at the moment I’m siding with the latter. It’s got a perfect place for a square number plate too.

That photo must be as old as time itself... Yes, it's the famous wheelie bin-winged Landy.

And me! Before looking closer, I first thought it was one of those carefully sculpted sand creations as there is a load of sand on the front bumper..... a sand rover.... tumbleweed

Often on bricks in the pub car park. I guess the lad works there are works on the car there too. The photos don't quite portray how shoddy it is.

I like that!...

...even better that the windows are so heavily tinted nobody would recognise me driving it smile

Reminds me of my old TRC cars (before Scalextics)

''Some of you already know that at the beginning of this year we pretty much put the shutter down and locked ourselves away for 3 months and this is why.
The back end of last year we were approached by a TV production company to be involved in an incredible project where we were asked to help produce an E30 like no other that would show case an awesome TV series.
Starting with a rusty old shell, restoring the bodywork and then to produce a kit from scratch that would be wide......very wide. Bumpers, wings, quarters, spoilers, skirts..........everything.
Being supplied with renders by the team at Goblin Works Garage we set about with the talented goblins and produced the bodywork on this incredible looking BMW.
All we can say is, what an amazing experience.
Camera crews, lighting rigs, scripts, presenters, blood, sweat and tears. Meeting lovely people and having the privilege of working with the series presenters: Helen Stanley, Anthony Partridge and Jimmy Deville who spent many an hour sanding, filling, shaping and picking dust and foam out of their ears and other weird and wonderful places, also meeting the producers, directors and camera crews which we all now call family.
The launch of the car was last night in Manchester and the response has been amazing on social media with the episode to be launched on TV very soon....... We do hope we look good on camera. Haha.
After many many long hours and late nights that went in to this project by all, we hope you love the car as much as we do.
.....and guess what? Yes the kit will be available to purchase very soon so you too can have this incredible look on your E30.
Let the pictures commence.
Gav, Ste & Tyler''

What a load of old guff.

I rather enjoy James May's 'Unpimp My Ride' series on YouTube - removing poor modifications on deserving vehicles.

Before this switched owners . It was done as a “iron man” car and was used on a charity run to raise money for kids in ill health. But now it Sounds like it’s got even worse

I almost like it but the rear arches are too boxy, and the grey doesnt work. it would be much better in these colours.

I didn't think people still modded hatchbacks to look like that anymore, thought max power era was dead. the wheels suit it well, and if the kit was more subtle i think it would look great.
