First decent car on this thread. Adjust the fog light, and it looks tidy
It's the badly modified cars thread, how many decent cars were you expecting?

I'll have to get a still from my dashcam of a car I saw this week. It was a 90's Toyota Corolla 'liftback', the 5 door with the bug eye headlights. White, base looking model, looked standard except for a Fast & Furious / BTCC style wing on the back. Nothing else done to it that I could see, so that wing really stood out hehe

I wonder if people who did the modifying stand back and look at it thinking "That looks spot on", or whether they look at it and think "Oops, that didn't go quite as well as I planned"

To be fair, it is no worse (and, against some examples, better) than the output of SsangYong's allegedly professional "design" department.

I think they look and even if it's not what they want or not how it should look, they are so committed to it, they have to say it looks good and just what they wanted. Even if it looks an utter wreck

That or they're fking deranged...

Is this badly modified?

I fancy another ST3, and this isn't too far away. Yet to undertake due diligence, MOT history check etc. It's obviously aftermarket, so hopefully it would enhance the 5 cylinder rasp, but is it, well, naff?
I can't decide.

Also, picture 3 (and above) has the rear panel had paint, and what more sinister than minor damage would I look for?

You barsteward, now I'll have the Thomas the Tank Engine theme stuck in my head all night!

As for the XJ-S up /\ there, if that gets completed into a proper Group 44 Bob Tullius replica then that is very cool indeed.
Agree; the XJ-S could be cool with a bit of fettling. As it is, it’s pretty gash smile
I hate to disappoint you on the XJ-S....it won't be a Group 44 rep, but it will be modified.

That's looking closely! Looking at them on AT I think I now fancy a phase2. Anyways, I've decided I don't like the quad exhaust look.

Tyres can be changed.
I don't mind the 4 exhausts but hate having to tick the insurance box saying "Is the car modified".
Also don't like the dark wheels.

Is it just me, or is this license plate a bit strange?

On the upside, you're never going to lose it in the carpark.
