Interesting place to mount a sunroof.

S5/Pre RS5/Full RS5. The only one pre RS5 with 420bhp that Audi made?

What is it? A clone or a total nonsense advert?

Body has the wider arches of the RS5.

BUT

That's not a RS5 steering wheel. Nor the centre console (no stop/start button)

My gut is that it's a S5 (V8 version) with "acquired" RS5 parts. Which they've thrown on. The rear arches are almost certainly not genuine Audi and the wrap is to hide how ste they've been bodged on.

Feed back is interesting biggrin

  • This person is selling fake perfumes - stay away!
  • Fake perfumes be aware. Seller does not response. The worst experience on e bay.
  • Bottle broke and could see glue where someone’s tried to fix. Also not new.

I see a Red Fiesta with a wing like this on my way to work sometimes. I checked out his Insta-innit (he has the sticker in the window)

When I see something like this I always think the owner will look back on it in their older years and think "what the fk was I thinking"

I'm not sure.

I met someone recently while waiting to pick a car up from an MOT who spent 10-15 minutes sharing his nostalgic memories of filling his 70s and 80s Fords with all the fibreglassed accroutrements you could buy - spoilers, wheel arches, louvres, interior consoles, additional gauge binnacles, roof cubbies etc, not to mention Dralon seat covers, whiplash aerials, CB. He'd even had an Escort van he still referred to as his Passion Wagon.

I think the only things he did not own up to were the names sunstrip and furry dicesmile.

He showed absolutely no evidence that he regretted any of these choices and, given his time again, I think he would repeat most of the purchases.

Fair enough; we'd live in a very boring world if we all conformed to a single view of good taste...although I'd rather not face the risk of being decapitated by someone's rear spoiler..

That raises the question:

If I fit a nice BIG wing to my boot lid and I did have an accident which injured another person in an accident, what are the ramifications legally ?

(I assume 99% of these have not been notified as modifications to the insurance company)

Just promote drifting on the public roads instead, better to get hit with the flat side:

It was of the time, so I don't see any bad points to it tbh.

thumbup To be clear, I wasn't suggesting anything much other than that people might look back and have absolutely no regrets. It's not my taste but I'm not advocating Maoist re-education campssmile.

Two options really:

The harsher one is a charge of dangerous driving on two legs - firstly, if it hits someone, it connotes bad driving or secondly, the RTA adds: A person is also to be regarded as driving dangerously .... if it would be obvious to a competent and careful driver that driving the vehicle in its current state would be dangerous.
- where “dangerous” refers to danger either of injury to any person or of serious damage to property

This is more often used when someone is driving a car with no brakes or missing a tyre etc but perfectly reasonable to apply it here. Penalty is obviously disqualification and an extended retest along with any sentence imposed.

The other provision is the Construction and Use regs
100.—(1) A motor vehicle, ...and all parts and accessories of such vehicle ... shall at all times be in such condition, ... shall at all times be such, that no danger is caused or is likely to be caused to any person in or on the vehicle ...or on a road.

(3) No motor vehicle or trailer shall be used for any purpose for which it is so unsuitable as to cause or be likely to cause danger or nuisance to any person in or on the vehicle.. or on a road.

I think this carries 3 penalty points.

Chrysler Le Baron based R129 conversion. You'll need to check the VIN to tell it from the original....

Wow a lot of work has gone into that... and from certain angles it looks pretty cool.

Apart from the side shot where it looks like a melted welly with a tent on the back

This one seems unusual and I don't think the front end works with the rest of the car.

E39 535. M5 V8 conversion and M4(?) front end:

That is tragic. Not in the idea, which I can actually see mileage in, but the execution. It looks like a bloody cut and shut!
