Why, after going through the effort and expense of fitting M5 running gear into a 535 would you then decide to go through a lot more effort and expense turning the car into that fking abomination? And the people that do these things walk among us......

I did that in my M5 as the standard stereo sounded gutless, the armrest is only clipped in so it took less than a minute to pull the speaker out and clip the armrest back in when you needed the centre seat.

It looks a bit crap, but I dont think that its that bad an idea.

Before cars came with decent audio out of the factory (or it wasn't a £3k+ option) it made sense to upgrade the sound system using the aftermarket, as long as it's tastefully done and doesn't exceed the value of the car or take up all of the boot then it's not bad modification imo.
