The lack of mudguards is a small problem, needing to be solved.
As they have grafted that lot to the front of a Bigmini I would not think 4 mud guards and some lights would cause them problems.
It would change the entire style of the build though. The exposed wheels are intentional!

I would love to see the stats on how many people were more badly injured because the car than ran them over didn't have any mudguards..

The issue with mudguards isn't impact, its an issue about water spray blinding other drivers.

Well, I suppose that would be a bit more of an issue here than in California..seems like you should be allowed to drive a car like that in good weather then smile

I think engine uncovered is another issue? Had an American friend who was a USAF guy deployed over here. Brought his car with him. We were out one night and he had his bonnet off, as he would back home and Police pulled him and had the car towed away.

I wonder how hard it would be to get that back to how it should be..those will be worth good money one day, surely?

That was my first thought when I saw the pic in a forum. I’m guessing the arches, front spoiler and rear wing are fibreglass so relatively easy to remove. Hopefully, the original arches wouldn’t have been butchered as the wheels don’t look that big. Masterclass in how to ruin a classic BMW smile

Exactly what I was thinking!

Blimey - big old lump in it! And that center console looks like its had some work put into it too.

However the comment 'You certainly will not see another one like this at a car show' is said with very good reason.

Agreed, including the dash into transmission tunnel. Someone has spent a lot of time on that. Full size Hot Wheels replica.

Looks like a Corvette rear.
Not too enamoured about the look.
Perhaps if the rear spoiler was removed? But it does beg the usual question, why?

Knock off the vents and the silly spoiler and that would look decent.
