Great news that they will stay in the UK.

Bit of background from the DM, better than their usual stuff...

If they mean an XKSS that must be worth at least £10m on its own.

100,000,000 divided by 543 suggests he's looking for an average of nearly £200,000 per car. What a muppet.

But no doubt just the sort of thing St Harry of Metcalfe would get taken in by.

Good on them, looks like a beautiful collection.

Curious as to what their plans are, hope it's not something utterly dull like a museum or installations in upscale shopping malls. Could be the start of the brummie miglia? hehe

ha ha ha - completely meaningless stat! Skewed somewhat by an XKSS a C-type and a D-type I think...

And not so much a muppet, since the sale appears to have gone through!!!

Stick CF body kits on them all and job them out? wink

Stick SC V8s in them all and job them out?

Use them to work out how they used to be made and re-tool?

Just sit and look at them all day long and do bugger all work?

So many brilliant uses. biggrin

The owner struck me as the sort of chap who would have discounted if he liked who was buying his collection and what they were going to do with his lifetime's work/pleasure.

I'm sure they will monetise their investment so it's great news for all of us.
