Still waiting for the Healey? That's ridiculous.
No, this is a completely different car (although I am still waiting for the Healey as well!)

Re NSX, yes there has been some movement, or shall I say information.
Thanks to the help of a friend, I have a Japanese local dealer who will take in the car and handle the process, as I was getting nowhere dealing direct with the Refresh program notwithstanding that they told me that I could liaise directly with them.
Saying that, I am reevaluating whether I want to do it at all. My life has just got so complicated, and I have lost patience in dealing with outside parties that either require a level of bureaucratic BS that is absurd or promise one thing and do another (for example, I was promised that a car being built for me would be delivered to me by 30 June, 2005, and I am still waiting for it).
I don't have enough time to drive and enjoy the cars that I have, and there is no point is making the problem worse.
If you decide not to go ahead, would you mind sharing your contact? I'd like to investigate putting mine through the refresh program.
I'll have to ask if the people involved mind.

Do you think these cars have gone too far? No one can really utilise the capabilities- and now they’re ‘unattractive’ too. Would you prefer a stunning, yet slower car vs an all out ‘I’m the fastest’.

Off the top of my head, the most interesting car introduced in the last few years has been the A110.

What emotions does the Senna stir, when you look at it.

Thanks for the update albeit I’m sorry you’re not having the best of times at the moment from the sounds of it.

I was watching a programme on Nick Mason the other night, when he was being interviewed in his garage. Unfortunately there were only tantalising glimpses of most of the cars, but not only has he got a 250GTO but possibly also an F1 (in Lark livery?) that we caught one corner of.

Have you spoken to Kaz? Long waiting list but excellent work

He owns GTR #10R. I think he crashed it at Goodwood Members Meeting a year or two ago.

Yeah, the guy said he was going to do it. He doesn't need nagging every decade.

Cheers! I think that may be the one I saw on the L2B run a couple of years ago (not taking part of course!)

Embarrassment that I would be associated with such a boy-racer, in-yo-face sort of thing.
Resignation that, if I want the driving experience that the car offers, I have to accept that it looks the way that it does.

Yes. There are a number of considerations at play here. I know that he does really good work (although if I wanted a body-off respray that would complicate matters). At the same time it is acknowledged by everyone that the work of the Refresh Program is the absolute best.

Ah right. Would you say your F1 trumps the other cars in your fleet, and should that be the case why bother collecting the fleet you have? Are the driving experiences that much different that they warrant, IYO obviously, such a huge expense, or is it simply, as it would be in my case, that they're nice shiny things to have that you can afford so why not and they're only going to go up in value so again why not?
