Thankfully we will never see, or be interested in, a Chris Harris style of thrash and "drift it in slow motion around every turn " with whooping and hollering.
Speak for yourself Grandad. Its a 600BHP car with no electronic aids. Live stream it Speaking of Tiff, I read somewhere that he was going to do a modern remake of that review, but not filmed on a potato like the original. I guess that hasn't happened yet.

In the nicest possible way, kindly sod-off with your presumption to speak for others
Quite right, Thejimi, I stand corrected again. That we should have been an IEdited by F1natic on Monday 24th August 13:02

What happens in the videos - Q&A; going over the details of the car; driving by owner; driving by Harry?
Typically just Harry, does a walk around the car pointing out interesting features then a bit of a drive round the Cotswolds. The owners rarely, if ever, feature.Personally I think it would be a fantastic video as he is exactly the right sort of person to do justice to your F1. He's a proper enthusiast and knows his onions. You could even tap him up for those expenses evo still owe you from when you last lent them the car...

So the question would be whether one would be comfortable with him driving one's car?
Yes I think so. Would be great to see your car featured though, even if as it is so special you do the driving with Harry as a passenger (if someone his height can fit in one of the passenger seats). I'm sure if you did this and wanted to keep anonymity (as who you are is frankly none of our business and we would just appreciate being able to see the car) he would be very happy to focus the camera on the dash and hands on the wheel only. Harry's channel is what I see as 'the thinking mans YouTube' and he is always respectful with the cars he drives.thegreenhell said:

Or there is Shmee ?
RE the clutch Flemke - I guess that is something you need to decide whether you feel it is something that could be learned relatively quickly, OR whether you and Harry would be happy to do a review but any of the driving part of the review would be you driving, with the cameras away from you, if you were to be happy to have some sort of review done. I know I would be very grateful of being able to see such a thing, but we would all of course be fully understanding for you not to wish to do so!

I'll think about it. I am privileged to have the car and am glad to be able to share my enthusiasm with others.
I doff my cap to you sir for considering this. But I do think it would be wonderful for us to see a review by arguably the most genuine car journo out there.Harry comes across as a proper gent, respectful of other peoples property, does his research and respects the machinery. By far the most interesting channel on YT.
I fear in a time not so long from now, when keeping an F1 on the road becomes prohibitively expensive either due to the age of the cars, value or draconian legislation, we will only have grainy videos from the 90s to get our moving fix of such an amazing car.
I think we'd all understand if it didn't happen, but i can't think of a more suitable reviewer were you to allow it.

Somewhat frustratingly he's been learning to drive properly, recently. 90-odd laps of the nordschleife, amongst other things.
Clearly making friends too....In other news McLaren Chicago launched the "Elva" and LM2 turned up! Owner also has Road car #001 and isn't afraid to use them!

Not only that but insurance is also probably prohibitive. Probably the most likely way to do it would be for McLaren to supply XP4.

I have known him independently of his social media work. One of his first videos, back in I think 2011, was of my car.Don1 said:
To my eyes, that is perfection. I've been lucky enough to see Mr Newey in his a few times and it is jaw dropping.
Mr Newey owns a GTR converted to road legal (Chassis 14R) not a "LM"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HF7F_tak3Jg
Was originally the sister car to "Andy74B"'s Lark car in the JGTC 1996
Andys car (yellow flashes at top of screen)
Neweys car 3rd on pic
Last raced in 1996 at Sugo where it had a bit of a bump

I wish Newey would put it back to the OEM livery. The "LM-alike" Orange is great, but wouldn't be my choice

It's the ONLY Shmee video I'll watch. Edited by S1KRR on Tuesday 25th August 21:00
