Flemke, do you have any thoughts on the current/recent offerings from Pagani and Koenigsegg? Do they tempt you, laying aside them being over-powered for the road? For example, do you appreciate the design or engineering?
I am sure Flemke once said to me that the Zonda interior was a bit like a tarts handbag (or something to that effect) I assume the newer ones are similar?Hi Flemke,
I don’t remember where you got to with the refresh of your NSX Type R. I read a couple of days ago that the NSX Refresh Plan has now ceased as can been seen in the attached photos - the parts shelves are bare

Flemke,
Jonathan Palmer had some forthright views on the F1 vs the NSX type R. You have both, do you agree or is he over egging it a bit?
Cheers.

That was a complete and total waste of my time. I made contact both in e-mail and over the phone with the director or the program, whose English was adequate (better than my Japanese!). They kept telling me that I had to fill out a complicated form in order for them to assess how much work had to be done, but they never sent me the form. They told me that only Japanese Honda dealers could submit a customer's car for the program (Honda UK could not do so). I lined up a Japanese dealer who was kind enough to offer to assist, but the folks on the program itself were of essentially zero use (in the administrative sense; I'm sure that the quality of their mechanical work was excellent). I tried for more than a year but finally gave up as it was going nowhere.I don’t remember where you got to with the refresh of your NSX Type R. I think he is talking about the normal NSX not the Type R, which was never offered in the UK or Europe.Jonathan Palmer had some forthright views on the F1 vs the NSX type R. You have both, do you agree or is he over egging it a bit?

In general I would agree. I have said here many times that the NSX is a fantastic car and I love mine.
The F1 is not comparable. Whether it was meant to be or not, I could not say, but it is not. It makes no more sense to compare the NSX and F1 than it does to compare chalk and, I don't know, say for example cheese.

Probably quite early in the process of things for you to answer flemke but any plans on getting the car (or any of the others in your colletction) out and about this year coming?
Not at this point, no. I have a few odd servicing jobs that I want done, I hope in the spring but being realistic they will probably have to wait until the summer. flemke said:
