I'd cut my right bk off with a rusty breadknife to own that NISMO.

The GTR looks ridiculous. I'm only 30, but I'd feel embarrassed driving something like that. Looks tacky.

The merc bores me to tears however.
Mine's coming in this colour...some may not like it...but I love it!

The GTR is 5 years old and they still haven't topped it...I don't know why the GT3 RS is fine with a monstrous wing and livery, but the GTR looks tacky?

The winner here must be a C63 507 with LSD and £40k in your hip, surely?
Many would say stick with a stock C63, visit MSL or Evolve to unleash 530bhp and get an LSD fitted.

I think there is much much more to offer in an AMG Black car though, so for me my dream garage would always have a C63 black in it (red with the bodykit pls).

Blimey, when I was 30 I hadn't even owned or driven a massive n/a German V8, the recently young are so jaded these days !

Maybe because the GT3 is actually raced that way, and besides, it's a "911." They have had monstrous/silly wings since 1973's 2.1l Martini Le Mans car.

That said, full marks to Nissan for extracting such monstrous performance out every way they could!

GT-R has had a rear wing since 1970 (homologated on the KPGC10) and raced like that too.

C63 is rather slow compared to the GT-R.

The GT-R is a great car, despite the badge shame.

Each is a phenomenal performance car, but in different ways. If I was fortunate enough to be in a position to buy either it'd have to be the Merc, despite it's dated looks. The GT-R has always been a dreadful looking thing for me. In fact, I'd probably plump for a GT3.

The GTR looks awesome. I do love an AMG but come on, they won't touch a GTR.

I remember a wonderful quote on here from years ago. Anyone else recall it? Something like... (Re: scary fast circuit laps) - "I saw Jesus so many times I started using him as a braking marker".

Is this evolve with the famous down hill dyno that always gives the same figures for every car?

A C63 (with std suspension) is a nicer road car at sub license loosing speed. The GTR is spectacular under most other circumstances.

I've owned, although admittedly stock, versions of the GT-R and the C63 and whilst the GT-R is great fun and a head turner I prefer the C63 for the raw fun factor and racket it produces.

It's common knowledge within the MB / AMG community that 530bhp is possible from just a remap from quite a few tuners.

If the C63BS bored you to tears, what do you use as a commuting car? A Monaro that's been covered in petrol and set alight?

One thing I'm pretty sure the 63 isn't and that's boring...

Lets not forget you can add on wings and fins to that model there and make it in a more menacing colour:

And make it incredibly chavvy in the process smile
