So i went to a fast fit place last week as i needed a tire for the daily hack asap. The tyre is a different brand to the rest. It seems to be sitting on the alloy showing a lot more of the rim than the rest. It looks odd.

As you can see there is a good 1/2 inch of alloy rim showing where tyre meets the alloy. Its not like that on the other tyres as can be seen in this pic

excuse the misspelling in title

Double check the tyre size. That does look a little odd...

One has a rim protector and the other doesn't?

Take it to a tyre fitting place and ask

Assuming it's the same size, then it looks like a cheap and nasty budget tyre with no built in rim protection.

You're going to die as soon as it rains or the temperature drops to below 5'C. Apparently.
