Luckily for me I thought this launch was tonight, so I missed it! It sounds excessively self-indulgent. For some reason car companies seem to go for this stuff. Mercedes produced some dancing girls for some product launch the other day - completely irrelevant - and then the CEO, Zetsche, appeared to talk about the product. It was so incongruous I cannot remember what the product was - it could have been their new van, it could have the new Smart car. And now JLR seem to have forgotten that less is more.

What they should have done is show a bank job being done by all the actors in the 'the good to be bad' advert. Lots of thrashing around London getting away from the police in a fleet of Jags banging off the limiter and shredding tyres. Much more enjoyable.
