2009...Arnold Clark Renault in Grangemouth. £17995 white, split new with 888s. I didn't do it and this still fecks me off. I had me reasons but I wouldn't dare defend them on this place :-)

How have you driven the new R out of interest?

I'd love a R26.R in Racing Blue or Lunar Grey one day
yes, I've driven one on track

I loved the R26. Liquid Yellow was stunning. The R26.R though was an awesome car but id never want to own one. Certainly a FWD legend.

Personally, id say an RS265 is better. Its much faster but has the day to day capabilities aswell.

A very good question that I was going to ask. Do you work for Renault? What was your opinion of the new car?
Nope.

It's good but in my opinion less raw than the predecessor, quieter from inside the cabin etc
exceptional grip levels and stability though.

Personally I was a little disappointed overall

Forgive me, I was wondering how. There's one in the country that I know of but hasn't been fitted (or hadn't at the time) with the ring pack so wasn't given to journos as far as I know. Just interested smile

And then, what's it like?

Looks fine to me but do you mean he can't heel and toe? I can't so I don't think I'd be faster!
The Renaultsport Megane R26R looks overpriced to me at the moment but I guess that's because it's so much rare than the normal Renaultsport Megane. As long as they hold their money you've got nothing to worry about I guess.
I've never driven one but they seem like a FWD Porsche GT3 RS with tyres, suspension and interior designed for track days. I imagine they handle really well.
