Three door estate cars

So what makes a three-door estate? No seats which don't have doors? If not then a lot of three door hatchbacks could be called estates as they have rear doors like an estate!
I quite like this definition of the modern shooting brake from Wiki actually: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shooting-brake"three-door models combining features of a wagon and a coupé"
Now whether that is the same as a "three-door estate" I suppose is open to question

In late 1976 Vauxhall did a limited run of about 200 Magnum Estates called the Sportshatch. They used the headlamps and nose cone from the 'Droop snoot' Firenza along with the Avon alloys. They had a 2.3 litre OHC engine. Inside was bold plaid red tartan trim, leather rimmed steering wheel, and red carpets. They looked black but were actually a very dark shade of red called extra dark wine. I used to pass one every day when I did a paper round on my bike, and always though that they were a lovely looking car, quite unusual at the time.

put one of those on its roof into a field, taking out the power to several thousand houses at the same time
