The phosphorus blue interior lighting - very cool at night

The minimal amount of buttons on the fascia.
Touch sensitive overhead reading lights - no buttons/'click-click'.
Heated, memory seats/mirrors.
Reversing camera very handy when parking up against low walls/obstructions.
The little arrow above the fuel level indicator which tells you what side the fuel flap is on. (Useful if you drive more than one car & fill up each!)
XF- The fact that the stereo mutes slighly when reversing so you can hear the beeps from the reversing sensors. I wan't really aware of this till I changed cars and the Superb doesn't do it. nearly hit a low wall as had loud music on and didn't hear the beeps.

Lots of nice touches in the XF - can't think of them all now

12v / usb in arm rest - handy for charging phone at le mans etc
12v in glove box
12v in rear
12v in boot

heated seats - never use em but the other half loves em
foot rest next to clutch

thingy that holds tickets against the glass
overhead glasses holder thing
windows work for a few mins after you take keys out

The main thing that pisses me off though is you need the keys in to operate the radio - nearly every other car ive had allows this - most turn off after an hour

It's a RR Evoque I bought for the Mrs. (Not that I need to keep an eye on her or anything!... app comes with the car).
thats got my geek intrested!
Looks a good fun gadget. BMW have had something similar for a while now. Best thing I liked about it was you could Google Search somewhere on your phone and send it to the car. This would then become a destination in the sat nav.

Yes, there is that too, though it can be annoying when you're listening to the radio and miss a bit of information ("And that was the new tune from.. beep beep beep"). But yes, I'd rather have the function than a cracked rear bumper smile

Add keyless entry & start to the XF list.

And if you put your key in the boot and close it the boot is supposed to pop open.

I say supposed to as it did it when I tested it a few times then one day at work threw my coat in the boot with keys in pocket and realised just as I closed the lid. Waited for it to pop open - it didn't - One unhappy Mrs TT doing a 52 mile round trip to bring me spare keys irked

There are a few:

Panoramic roof
When in reverse, if you flick the mirror adjusting thingy on to L, the left wing mirror angles downwards so that you can see how close your wheels are to the curb. Very useful for Mrs Juice
Reverse camera and sensors front and back are v useful
Folding wing mirrors (electric) are useful
Not something that comes with the car, but an isofix base for my 2 month son is amazing. Clip in and out with ease and zero fuss.
Cooler in glove box

Boxster

The amount of useful storage in the cabin and twin boots is pretty impressive for a 2 seater Sports Car
As is the Umbrella in a neat little slot down by the passenger footwell
Always liked the petrol flap sited on the front wing
The active rear spoiler (always loved these since my first Corrado VR6)
The dashboard oil level gauge
All the little Anniversary embellishments (short-shifter, different gear-knob, wheel spacers, lowered 10mm, 987 air intake etc)

Mercedes ML with Airmatic.

The car will automatically lower itself by 15mm at 70mph.

So when you exit the motorway and stop at lights or a roundabout it will raise itself back up again.

Always causes a few stares and pointy fingers.

Very very cool.

Hill-hold.

One of the few modern electronic 'enhancements' that I'm a fan of in the BMW.

Audi's version seemed less adept and slow to release. BMW's is seamless....

Jag XJ

Massive centre armrest

the v8 growl

Volvo s60

Oh yeah, if you put it in reverse and it senses the rear window is wet (even if the wiper is not already on) it gives it a couple of wipes so you can see where you're going.

What car?

Pretty sure most do it in the dry too, no sensor.

The fact that the steering wheel retracts away from you when you remove the key from the ignition, giving you a lot more room to get in and out of the car.

I like how in the Audi you can gently press the indicator stalk to get 3 flashes. Perfect for changing lanes and exiting roundabouts.
Didn't think Audi drivers used them ;-) Same in the Civic too, like them, mean less chance of not cancelling at oblique turnings.

Magic rear seats. Love the way the base of the rear seats can be folded up, but only benefit I have found so far is easier to hoover the back out underneath

Petrol cap holder on the inside of the fuel filler panel

False floor in the boot for sneaky extra storage

Outside rear door handles. Had quite a few instances where rear seat passengers have asked me to get out to fold the front seat forward so they can get in thinking it's a 3 door :-)
