Your 35th post was correcting grammar, congratulations.
Thanks.American-English really gets on my tits. For example, people at a bar "Can I get......" No, you can't. Unless you go behind the bar and serve it. What's wrong with "Please may I have"? That's the correct way.
I think he means your write.

Re 90, is this folklore or confirmed by anyone? My lad has been claiming it to be the case for some time time now and we stay under just in case, but it would be good to know anyone who can confirm they got done by one for over 90.
On the section from Heathrow to Gatwick, I have regulaly been 100+ and no ticket.(Tin foil hat already on for the barage of do gooders bleating on about speeding)

Surely their must be some mistake. Noone would get your and you're wrong I think he means your write.
Anyway back to the topic in hand, I've used the M25 daily for years and have never heard of anyone being caught speeding by the gantry cameras.
Many of them have markings on the road and no camera anyway and I guess if they did start dishing out fines they'd manage to ban half the population of the South East from driving within a few weeks.
The managed sections are a joke with the seemingly random numbers generated and displayed on the gantries and the vast majority of users don't stick to the limits defined by those displays unless the actual traffic flow forces them to.
I've seen many times odd 40mph or 50mph signs displayed on completely deserted sections at night. Never been ticketed for passing by these above the posted limit.
I think a bigger improvement in traffic flow could be gained by educating people to keep left and actually use the extra capacity built in rather than pulling straight out from the slip road and settling into a coma in lane 2,3 or 4.

The north section Hadecs (J27-23) flashed over 80 for a few months after the four lane widening went in. I got flashed once at about 85, no ticket. They seem to have calmed down now and I've sat on 80 with cars overtaking easily doing 90 and they haven't flashed. I cant figure them out so don't really do over the limit in that section. I do enjoy a bit of M25 Hadec schadenfreude though.

I shall remember for next time!
was just flashed not half an hour ago anticlockwise between 10 and 9... no reduced limits shown and no closed lanes, i was doing approx. 90 on a pretty empty stretch. First time ive ever seen any of these cameras flash, never been flashed anywhere else before in 8 years of driving, lit the whole road up like a battlefield. Guess its the 14 day waiting game now
