Exhaust pipes- all our cars have either aftermarket or chrome sleeves.
My wifes mk2 golf came with a silly single pipe, managed to retrofit a gti twin pipe, not happy with that put chrome tips on.
I was helping out my wifes friend last month by polishing out a scratch on her bumper, her car was returned with a new stitched steering wheel cover and.... chrome exhaust tip.

Mudflaps...every car I’ve owned has to have a set of mudflaps fitted, even on a Porsche which I’ll admit looks a little odd but it helps stopping the car getting stone chipped.

I'm more bothered about acceleration than handling and I don't really give a toss how heavy a car is.

I'm getting old(er), so I'm allowed some leeway...

I bought my IQ out of necessity (size/fuel consumption) after my beloved old Puma had to go. It's a great little thing. Two recent 4 and 1/2 hour drives to Brighton and back have made me realise it's actually a really comfy car to travel in as well as perfect for zipping around city centres. I'd have been arriving in Brighton aching and rattled in the Puma, but not in the IQ... and I couldn't honestly say it was any slower overall. It's nowhere near as much fun on the twisty roads, but in truth I did those kind of drives about six times in all the years I had the Puma (as a petrolhead I should have been out every weekend, surely... but life gets in the way).

As much as I'd love a Morgan (lack of funds) or classic Mustang (only have space/money for one car... and one that has to get me to work every morning) I have to live in the real world for the moment.

This is a pic of a car similar to our Mitsubishi i-Car. A Kei Car with 4 doors, 4 seater, automatic, turbocharged 660cc RWD.

It's our choice of car for most trips. We regularly do Maidstone to Hastings/Eastbourne/Brighton/New Romney in it. It will happily cruise at 60-70mph on a long A-Road and surprises people with its speed. The narrow width makes it a breeze to park, the long wheelbase = compliant ride and it has air con for hot days. On the narrow bridges and down country lanes, we never stop as we don't have to give way - there's plenty of room for us and the oncoming car to pass. The only downsides are the tall profile in strong winds which make your ringpiece clench at times.

And it's the chosen vehicle over a 520d, Clubman S, Passat Estate and Jazz.

I'm similar to you and I prefer acceleration over handling and I'd go as far as to say that handling is very low on my list of priorities with a car. I generally prefer a really good power to weight ratio though(like my Cerbera was) so I think I'd rather have a light car than a heavy one for sure.

For example both my Cerbera and M3 had very similar bhp...but the weight difference made them feel completely different to drive.

Forgive me PH for I have sinned. It has been several weeks since my last confession.

I saw an Infiniti Q50 on the motorway yesterday, and I really liked it.

I've now mulled over the cost of importing one from Japan. (Not worth it, by the way! But UK ones are relatively cheap.)
Say one Alphather and three Hail Miuras.
And a Rollsary
Have a rofl , you two.
I laughed hehe

It also got me thinking...
Hail Miura, full of pace
Good God is with you....

after that I'm really struggling.

Blessed art thou in thou movement
And plessed is the fruitiness of thine exhaust
Holy Miura chariot of God
play with us sinners
Now and at the hour of our encounter with a bulldozer, amen

Outstanding. Although, how does one Lexus against another person?
