I'm slightly surprised that someone hasn't built a replica for off road racing with something slightly more accessible powering it like a Chevy LS7. Bowler 002 anyone?
The forerunner to the LM002, the Lamborghini Cheetah, used a Chrysler engine as Lamborghini was owned by Chrysler at that time...

Is it possible to get new tyres?

My quick research suggest that these are almost impossible to get hold of...

Pistonheads really need to run a piece on "anti-social impractical cars you'd love to own"
The rule must be that any car listed has to be rare, overpriced, impractical, expensive to run and maintain.
Basically a millionaires "why the f**k not" list.
+1, that would be a brilliant article! I'd like to see that.

Personal choice would be the AMG 6*6.
Or a super luxury lorry cab.

I hadn't ever thought of looking up the availability of kevlar reinforced bullet proof offroad LM002 sized tyres.

I'm sure that anyone in the position of attempting to own something like this would get some tyres custom made. I mean, who'd want some off the shelf rubbish for their exclusive offroader?

Brilliant vehicle, V12 sound, Lambo badge and Rambo image. Im not sure there is a more macho vehicle in existance!!!

If I could have just 20 cars of my choice, this would surely be one of them :-)

How funny, I was talking to the other half about this the other day.

Definitely want to own one (or it's replacement!) sometime soon...

And I would take it to work EVERY day!

Traffic? I'll take the off road path.

Never thought that I'd say that someone had ruined the looks of a LM002 but I suppose there's a first time for everything!
