Pretty sure it is, it was 18 years ago though laugh

I do have a feeling that you could order I milled aluminium style dash, lthough that may hve been on the later cars that had black/silver leather and silver roof/stripes

Just over budget but maybe worth a haggle.

OK, so its on Scumtree and has done 310,000 miles, but I find it alluring! Reference to higher compression model is that AU market got a detuned, 184bhp version, whereas this is full fat 218bhp version.

That is very good value. A practical and stylish classic.

Not bad at all. I'm sure values of these are rising

No; he drove a Peugeot Convertible, but it was a 403 - older (and bigger) than this 304.

That's right.

The 304 cabrio is an absolutely lovely thing, one of my favourite cars ever.

Was that dash and wheel/gearstick treatment standard on the late originals ? Lets down what is otherwise a very cool car.

The dash was standard, the wheel/gearstick came with the optional leather interior

I tried to buy this but it sold today to someone else. I do have a 304s but it needs full restoration so it would have been nice to have one ready to use for this summer.

Not really retro but will be a classic one day

E46 M3 convertible for £3,750
One of the nicest colours Laguna Seca Blue IMO

Cheap and probably not dear to sort if you have access to a good BMW mechanic.

That's what I was thinking. It must be worth nearly that in parts. Good bodywork, Engine, Leather interior, Alloys etc

Spoke to my mate there who buys and sells M3 'verts and he has seen the advert and looked into it.

He says its a scam advert.

The feedback for that user has no other cars for sale, just regular stuff on their feedback not cars so looks like its been hijacked, and if you google that land line number it links to about 5 ebay adverts but when you try to click on them they no longer exist and look like they've been pulled by ebay?

I think he is right, five or six adverts all pulled by eBay 2010 Audi S5 £6,995 and a 12 plate Evoque £8,500. They want a bank transfer for payment!
