I really wish you hadn't put that up, I've wanted one of these for a very long time but at an average of £10k could never afford to do so.

I was tempted to stick a bid in at £5k, but then read the notes about EML.

Anyone here get it?

Renault Clio Trophy

36,677 miles which is extremely low

£102.00 when posted but has a reserve. It will go over £5k but even at the buy it now this would be a lot more at a garage.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Renault-Clio-Renaultspor...

No mention of the timing belt being done, so add +£500 with a local reputable RS indy or +£900 at your local RenaultSport dealer.

The wheels need a refurb so +£300 there.

It really needs those daft stripes removed, and goodness knows what that will look like underneath relative to fading.

The miles are good on it, but thats about it really.

Amazing. God, I want one so much.

Shame there's no gif of the slidey roof to go with it!

Love the triple green seats in the Bagheera, but I'll take the Starion, thanks!

So much want for that car. My parents had a succession of 480's when I'd just passed my test. Dad had a black turbo, then mum had a purple 2.0 n/a. I seem to remember a white turbo too, but that didn't stay in the fleet long.

This is supposed to be the £0-5K thread isn't it?

Posting cars which have just started their eBay auction but will which obviously exceed the £5K limit later on isn't really in the spirit of the thread.
WOW.........

Well obviously a 2004 MG ZT V8 should sell for around £10,000 but if you check below it went for £4,100.

You can never tell what a car will sell for and if it is well below £5k I can't see what the problem is???

Depending on the Clio Trophy's reserve it could well sell for under £5,000 as it needs work.

If I was to have your attitude I would never buy cars off eBay.

Ha, I bought a 480 as a stop-gap car last Autumn, but that gap has got bigger and bigger hehe I love it though

Worst case you are talking about £1500.

The strips which are factory fitted would stay on. Why anyone would pay for them to be added is a beyond my understanding but why waste good money taking them off.

Basically taking into account the above you would just bid accordingly.

Still a good car at the right price.

Well said. So long as you're not posting stuff that is ridiculously out of budget, I don't see the problem.

Keep on sharing your eBay finds.

I know they are sometimes advertised for around 10 grand, but I don't think they actually sell for that sort of money - Most of the completed eBay listings that seem to be changing hands for 5-6k?
