Very brief description in the ad but it's got the right engine (1.9 TD), and the mileage (47k) stacks up with the MOT history. Also, no advisories on the last one.

You could easily quadruple that mileage with nothing but routine servicing! I'd wait until the tyres get low and then stick some Volcane alloys on it!

Not a bad old wreck for £350.

I can't imagine this being for sale long. If it was vaguely close to me I think I'd probably buy it and move it on the spring and make a few quid out of it

The ad suggested they'd take a chip on the price as well.

Normally I'd agree but on that particular model and colour I think it suits it smile

biggrin, sorry it was meant as a tongue in cheek comment but I forgot to add a smiley.

Just for info, where I work there are no good days. wink

That merc is within easy haggle of budget and is a lovely looking thing. Nice colour too, and unusually well-equipped.

A simply excellent dog / tip run car any PHer would be proud to have on the fleet.

This has just popped up on a FB posting by Classic and Sportscar, I thought I'd seen it somewhere before.

Fingers crossed I'm moving house soon, that would make a great removal van.
