I just bought this lovely 61k 106 GTI

Been looking for a Rallye for ages but saw this pop up.

The whole retro hatch thing is a great thing to get into IMO a lot of cars are still underpriced. This 106 is in amazing condition a real timewarp car. I shouldnt have been able to buy it for £3500 but here it is. Bit of fun and worth way more with a couple of little bits done.

Very nice! I'd still check the usual rust spots, even at those miles, just in case there's something brewing. Better to nip it in the bud than let them go rotten.

Fantastic! I'd have snapped that up I reckon!

Where did you find it? There was a guy on SELOC discussing one he had for sale but it sounded like it needed a fair bit of work!
