Am I the only one just a little dissapointed, that it isn't going to have a proper Assymetrical full time AWD system.

Boring question, but does anyone know what the CO2 figure will be? I'm thinking this would make great company car - needs to be below 160g to get on my scheme, though.

Looks like a different version of the 2.3 unit in the Mustang is 180g frown
I think I read somewhere that it'll be 20% better than the old one?

http://www.evo.co.uk/ford/focus-rs/15137/ford-focu...

If that's the case, the old one was 225g/km so the new one might be about 180g/km putting it in the £225 p.a. bracket. All guesswork though.

Ford Ireland may have let the cat out the bag.....

http://www.ford.ie/AboutFord/GenevaMotorshow2015

Developed by the Ford Performance team, the All-New Focus RS is the latest model to carry the renowned RS badge. In fact, this is the 30th vehicle in a series that stretches back to 1967. And in keeping with the car’s reputation for pioneering design and engineering, the All-New Focus RS incorporates a range of ground-breaking technologies. For example, Ford Performance All-Wheel-Drive and Dynamic Torque Vectoring Control help deliver exceptional levels of grip, handling and cornering ability. As for power, a specially tuned 2.3-litre EcoBoost petrol engine delivers 350 PS.

What are they waiting for anyway? Is Ford scheduled to make an announcement before the end of Geneva or are we supposed to wait even longer than that?

Im in awe at that find laugh it should be a lot of fun at 350hp, lets hope the AWD system is configured well.

On the Evo's the S-AYC can be reprogrammed, I'm betting this will be possible on the RS in a few years. Remapping your drivetrain could be exciting.

They were waiting for Honda to release there power figure for the civic.

345bhp is more than i expected, but it should be fun!

350ps = 345bhp = what my Mountuned one has. Add 4wd (and the next Mountune kit = 400bhp?) and we have a recipe for me opening my moth-filled wallet.

This may sound an odd question but has anything been released about how many this seats, 4 or 5?

Why would it not be 5?

The ST mk2 had three models, the ST1,2 and 3, just the ST1 had 5 seats due to the seat config.

345 bhp, impressive, kocking on the door of the Merc A45 but a hell of a lot cheaper and looks like it will be more fun, drift mode !

Plus, a fast Ford is so much cooler than a hotted up Merc.

Because of the rear bench seating arrangement.....

ST3 mk2 had leather Recaro's and was a 4 seater, RS mk2 was a 4 seater.

Ahh, interesting. Here's hoping it's a five seater, in my quest to get something other than another Golf it's looking like one of these or a Type-R. 345bhp and AWD sounds very attractive.

I think thats a matter of opinion.

I wonder if this one will be dogged with problems like the last one.
