Not within budget by any stretch but every now and then someone takes the piss to such a spectacular extent that they are worthy of inclusion:

The close-up at 1.00 really sold it for me!

Perhaps he'd like someone to turn up to meet him in the dimly lit underground car-park with an attaché case stuffed to the brim with £37K as well?
Ah, c'mon, it does have the OE boot mounted cooler box option.

Maybe it's priced in post-greek-apocalypse euros?

Anti-124 7 seat winter barge.
Not cheap at 4k, but they do sound nice.

It's about knowing your market. Beige indicator/wiper stalks might look terrible to us, but my Grandfather would find think them excellent.

It's even got a handy storage area behind the heater controls for some little cloths.
For when your dribble runs down your cardie while on the pharmacy run.
I'm sold.
Eh?

Jimetta's E-Class is going to be making way for one of these very shortly.

She's going to go berserk, but life's too short to allow the ill-informed wishes of one's loved ones to prevent one taking the decisions that they don't realise are the ones they'd also make if they knew as much as one does.

Lovely looking things. The rear screen really is something to behold.

Maybe the cool box is for keeping your kidneys cold after he's relieved you of the £37K in your attaché case?

And looking at that car I'm not sure I'd be happy parting with 37,000 Pesos let alone post-greek-apocalypse euros! laugh

How about a handsome, low-mileage, modern execu-coupe for 3 bags?

This is just a complete bargain. We all like to have a little laugh at big french cars but I'm sure it would be a superb long distance cruiser, probably better than a lot of german machinery. Has anyone driven one of these coupes and does it have a nice soft ride as one would expect from the french?

That said, if I wanted french continent crushing ability, I'd have a C6. An absolute classic. Just look at them!

Yep. I think "democracy" has really had its day and been shown, for all its good intentions, to be a fundamentally failed concept. Far better the "Benevolent Dictator" model.

My weakness as a Dictator was amply illustrated this past weekend. I spotted a car which I should have just bought immediately. However, I dallied overnight pending a "consensus vote" the following morning...only to lose out by a matter of minutes as the car was sold from under my nose! frown

Perhaps some form of representative democracy where you decide who is in charge of the cars side of things once every 5 years?

What was the car?

Her dominion over colours, fabrics and destinations goes challenged by me only insofar as to engender her jealous protectiveness of that area of her control.

Said jealousy elevates said dominion's perceived value, thus relegating in relative terms the area of vehicular mastery I quietly assume as my own.

Puppet Master.

C6s need to be dark green or blue, lighter shades don't do them justice.

To be fair to the Mk1 Laguna of the era that my family had, everything worked when it was sold at 130k miles.

From about 50k onwards it got ever more baggy and rattly to the point that the 70k Focus estate that replaced it felt like a brand new car in comparison. It had silly faults like the throttle cable (snapped twice) and another key bit (can't remember which) that had to be ordered in 3 times as the production line used different parts depending on the day of the week.
