The same year car, with the same 5.5 V8 engine & Sport spec, but 92k miles went privately via Autotrader last week for £4,800. The V8's have softened this year...well, some have.

I saw that last night and it annoyed me so much I nearly messaged him about it. I've only ever seen base spec cars advertised as "FULLY LOADED TOP SPEC ALL THE TOYS"2008 325i se with 40k miles and base spec.

The whole car will look just like any other with that age and mileage ie used NOT new.
That's not even worth half the asking price...
and with Full BMW Dealer Service History.... That's less than 300 Miles a year...

To be fair I don't think the price is that bad it was more the incredible low mileage compared to the other post, just makes you think were they find these cars..? They also have a 20 year old One owner Z3 done 33,000 miles... !Try searching Autotrader with a silly low mileage filter on. You'd be surprised what turns up. I missed an E24 BMW M5, one of the last 50 that came into the country, that only had 4000 miles 10 years after it was sold. Turned out the purchaser had suffered an illness shortly after buying it, and when he eventually passed away, it was returned to the dealer it was bought from, who sold it for the guy's widow free of charge for her. She got the full sale price.
