7k? A nice example, but I can't imagine people are queuing up to buy this. And this is despite the fact I quite like it!

If it was 306 gti6 it would be very cheap at that price and yet basically the same car (which some would consider technically better) in a frumpy dress is never worth anywhere close to the value of its sister.https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/11331366...
I consider myself pretty good with classic pricing but this one surprised me. Winning bid £28K.

Seems a bit high for an auction maybe but Practical Classics have a very good one at £35k, mint ones over £50k!. It's been with the last owner 34 year since import from the USA, many bidders go weak at the knees at this sort of thing, for some reason. https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/1969-alfa-rome...

My brother had a red VTS back in the day. I never liked it. A few friends has the GTI6 and it just seemed a much better car.https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/11331366...

an undesirable, slow, low spec, rusty, slightly broken volvo? £3k
Also doing the typical bell end thing of accidentally missing a 0 off the mileage, 10,800, how did I guess it would really be 108k, tosser.an undesirable, slow, low spec, rusty, slightly broken volvo? £3k
Great car, no doubt. Owned by a motoring legend, fair enough. Half a million quid, oh do fk off.

No more daft than the Princess Diana Escort RS Turbo, or how much people pay for driver’s crash helmets, race suits, bits of F1 bodywork etc.https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202404088...

I would be doing some digging as to what is meant by "owned". https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202404088...
Was it actually registered in his name (i.e proof of name on logbook), or was he lent the car?

Very low milage for year and great condition, price seems about right to me.I can think of many worse ways to spend 3 grand.

Even better, you can't have it until the end of the summer so that it can be displayed at a museum. Where's my chequebook? https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202404088...

I saw the advert saying it was owned by Senna but didn't see the price. I'd actually assumed it would be more. https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202404088...
I also saw Princess Diana's first job offer was up for auction some people will by anything.
