Me too. Seems very well done but I have no idea how much it's actually worth.

Prices of vans has gone mental.
Particularly old nails!
I've recently been offered £5k for my now slightly scabby nearly 200k mile 2012 Transit that I only paid £8k for when it was three years old and with 150k less miles on it.

I'd have bitten their hand off if it wasn't for the fact replacing it requires handing over a disgusting amount of money for another.

I’m surprised old crappy vans are worth so much when so many cities and towns have established ULEZ/clean air zones. Where on earth are they going?

Is it the high new van prices that are making the old ones hold value so well? You could probably get a slightly newer one for that by the way:

Surely when insuring, you'd negotiate the value with them, comparing to coupes? Presumably to an owner, that's its 'worth'

Camper and day van conversions. For comparison, a new T6 California is £60K+. There are companies that will convert a van to a decent standard for 5K, though a lot of people DIY it.

That's been for sale for a while. How much of a premium can yellow really demand? Not this much it seems. Guess it only needs 1 person though.

What happened to that old Merc in the London street with battered panels, interior and the tyres which filled every MOT it had ?
This one?

The exterior is bad, but wait until you get inside.

Autotrader link no longer works but I guess it didn't sell as the last V5C was issued in 2012 and it's still taxed. 84 days till it's next MOT though.
Yeah.

It may seem a lot but 5 or 10 years from now it will be worth £100k.

Hmmm, really like that… not up to date with Porsche pricing but doesn’t seem too bad considering the price of some…

Turbo without the well known engine maladies would be my choice, for similar money.

At this point it’s probably a case that a Turbo is going to cost you less to run unless the C4S has been fixed up to a high standard.

The C4S makes sense if it’s cheaper than a Turbo, engine issues aside.
With the engine issues it has to be well below a Turbo, not the same price!

On the face of it it looks like a nice car but the price seems a bit punchy for a car with 251000 miles, even a Volvo.

Cool car, but not at that price! I would have thought £2500 at best, or does that make me out of touch?

I know van prices are a bit silly ATM, but £2300 for a rusty old Transit bodyshell, with no paperwork is slightly optimistic.

2300 is a bit much but at £1200 it can’t be that as an ideal hilarious V8 conversion van. Imagine it with a coyote!!!
