Nearly £50k for George Michael's old Range Rover, not even his most recent one?

Think BMW are being a tad optimistic with this one....

That's probably what you end up paying for a white BMW 1 series "sport" when you buy it on car supermarket finance at 3 years old though hehe

That was featured in PPC Magazine.

It's a nice build but that's certainly a rather optimistic price.

I'm assuming it is priced to appeal to those wishing to re-shell a GTI!

Did they actually overprice it then? If one of those bids comes off it sounds like they pitched it right!

Ludicrous. It wasn't worth £20k ten years ago and isn't remotely special, rare or a classic.
Hexagon for you. Purveyors of overpriced, average cars to Southern mugs for many years now.
Is anyone that much of a mug though? I mean seriously?!
It is quite rare

Facelift car
Six speed manual
And Sport Convertible with hardtop

A really really nice 330 sport cab is £6995 most are auto without hardtop and that would be for 70k plus miles.

It's how much you load up the value for sub 10k miles AND manual which is the one to have.

It's got to be £15k minimum? What would you value it at?
I wouldn't pay more than £5k for it and that's really pushing it; probably more 3 or 4. It's a mass market model and 13 years old.

9,000 miles in 13 years isn't a positive for me. It's basically been sitting in a garage for its whole life.
And one month later, it's still languishing at Hexagon. It hasn't even got the Harman Kardon Navigation upgrades rolleyes

The VW spitty market has gone batst crazy in recent months. Wish I had racked up a few on the drive when I had the chance. frown

We took an E46 330 Ci Cab in as a swapper last year. 2003 car in silver with 75,000 miles and comprehensive history. Owned from new by an old boy who was wanting something easier to get in and out of. The car was in excellent condition - a couple of corners needed refurbishment and a small scuff on the bumper. Other than that it was a lovely car - the interior looked like new. We gave £2500 for it. It went to the block and sold for just over £3000.

I'll not mention the usual suspects, but insane pricing like this at modern classic/sports 'specialists' has damaged the market. We had a difficult situation recently with a customer who stormed out after we valued his leggy and poorly modified C6 RS6 at £6,000. "I've seen them advertised and that makes mine worth £20,000"

I've completely lost interest in cars at the moment. This is one the primary reasons.

Looks like the ebay listing for George Michael's range rover is over and someone has bought it for £65,900.

6k for a C6 RS6 is a bit of an insult though really, it would have to be an absolute dog to be worth 10k, let alone 6.
Are you sure you don't mean C5?

Months? Years more like. A few have changed hands for 6 figures! When I got in to VW's nobody wanted them and a couple of thousand got you a tidy one. They're hateful things to drive, I've never seen the appeal myself

I borrowed one a few years to clean/take to a local VW/Audi show. petrol light was on when I picked it up, thought i'd stick a tenner in it as was only a few miles away. petrol light was still on after putting petrol in! smile

always thought they'd be an expensive car to run long term.
