A Sunny GTi-R must be the bargain buy of these rally reps nowadays. They did very well in comparison tests with the Ford and Lancia and are still a fraction of the price in comparison. They must be due a price rise soon I reckon.

Friend worked for NME prepping them for Llewellyn/Makinen and the standard road car was way ahead of the other 2 as standard...... ( apart from the brakes! )
Trying to find a UK Sunny GTi-R which has not been abused or tuned the hell out of is a hard find.

Even the Japanese imports do not seem to have many about.

Always fancied one along with a R32 GTR.

The Mitsubishi Evo Makinen is going North as is the 22B above.

You would think the Celica GT4 and other cars from that era would start to become noticed and increase soon when the others are.

There is a low mileage Subaru Impreza RBS for £29,995 which perhaps is not that badly priced.

https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/...

To think I could have bought a 34,000 miles 22B back in 2003 but decided to buy a MK1 Focus RS instead.

If you only knew what lay ahead biggrin

Oh yes, agreed there! My mate wishes he'd kept hold of his old Mk2 RS1800
Wasn't any better to drive than an RS2000 ......but it'd be worth finding in a barn now hehe

A 6 year old 'Aston Martin' with 54k miles for £20k?
It may be worth that but it's a complete joke that someone would pay it.

http://www.usedcarsni.com/2011-Aston-Martin-CYGNET...
And even more of a joke that someone bought it new, paying considerably more!!
Even more of a joke are the dealership that's selling it, just google the name and look at all the negative feedback and lack of stars they get.

Nice write-up on the history but shame it isn't a c/r gearbox car
Really brings them alive. Personally I'd prefer one of the other colours but can't be too picky with these as there aren't many left

I like silver. I would like the silver better if there wasn't so many difference shades of silver.

At that price the paint needs to be much better than that.

Ok it is one of the 16 UK cars but it is a big price to pay.

Or maybe I am just out of touch.

I vaguely knew a chap with one a few years ago, and I think he sold his for not far off that money around 2013. Sold his XJR-15 around the same time too. Older guy, mad as a box of frogs; he bought a Tesla and then took it hill climbing. Mentalist. He has a Norris design built Sunny GTI-R' for the hill climbs too, though I never saw it in the flesh.

Don't care how rare it is but £10k for a mk1 MX-5 that's not got a turbo or suprcharger is ridiculous.

He can't even spell Roger! It's a no from me. Any advert that doesn't put a price on should be pulled from classifieds.

Lunacy. I've had three mx5's and an old one is no way near worth that much unless you perhaps have an mx5 museum

Every MX5 was a special edition, it's more rare if it's not.
