What about this for £28k.....

Two years ago it would have been around £8k.

It doesn't even look in good condition. The front seats aren't the same either.

Some dealer in this month's Octane magazine is trying to sell a 1976 Ford Escort 1.3 estate for £19,995.

This one isn't necessarily overpriced now but it obviously was at one time! hehe

Love the complete lack of effort. Just take a new picture FFS!

They leave the price on (or bump it up) to show how much it's dropped so the buyer thinks it's a bargain and must be snapped up before someone else does, or that it's an 'online exclusive price'

Work colleague is interested in 911 turbos; 35-big-ones for a 17 year old car that has 130,000 miles on the clock !

Blimey !

Alloys have seen better days also, and the engine bay looks like it could do with a clean up for sale time.

I think its adverts like this one that will eventually make buyers realise how crazy the 2nd hand performance car market is right now.
With the bubble about to possibly burst, I think there are plenty sellers out there who are getting a little worried and are wanting to cash in now with seriously overpriced asking amounts before the penny drops with buyers.
That's a rough looking car. The wheels are from a later 911, this vintage should have hollow spokes. The Sony amp in the front boot would also be a major negative. A Porsche purist wouldn't touch that car with a bargepole.

More than any other marque, later wheels tend to always look gash on earlier Porsches.

Double what other forged Impreza hatches are going for, and an advert consisting of one badly spelled sentence... think I'll pass.

Yes it's rare but that is it.

I honestly can't imagine anyone in the world parting with that much money for one. I don't think I would even if I was a billionaire!

Here is one that was for sale for half that around 18 months ago.
http://www.bmwblog.com/2015/12/16/would-you-pay-14...

It's a very slightly upgraded £30k M3!

That's not too bad. Well dependent on mileage.

Ok, the CLK is hardly Mercedes finest model - especially the first example and built in Mercs troubled era where rust, electrical issues and flaky build was rife - but it still is a 4-seat Mercedes cabrio.

A 1970s (W111) fetch £300k+
A 1990s (W124) command £20k+

I'm not suggesting for a minute the CLK will go up to those sort of heights, but should hold that value.

apologies for the small image as I don't think PHs rules allow me to link to it, you'd have to be logged into FB for the link to work anyway. came across this on a classic mini group. they must have been smoking something.
