Mad isn't it. You'd have to really want a Boxster. I'd rather put that sort of money into a new 911.
Or an ‘as new’ Cayman GT4 and some change!

One owner?

If he hasn't owned it since '99 it's really a 3 owner car.

Anyone ask what number it is ? I'm sure the 22B people could give a good run down on that very quickly.

this toyota starlet (gumtree)

I know that the glanza and GT turbo has a following but I don't get why the UK 'sr' gets so overly priced when all it is is just a trim level and some stickers on the side. This one looks horrible (contender for the horrors in classifieds thread) and an absolute joke that they want anything over £1000. not even worth the scrap value. if you're going to own an SR then keep it looking like an SR, not a turd.

here is one that is overpriced on autotrader but at least you can identify it as an SR.

That is pure class, but I'm more intrigued by the 675LT they have listed with 30,000 miles on the clock under one owner

Anyone know that car's story?
I assume the alloys is someone’s idea of a styling decision?

Looking at the earlier stock, that is possible the last place on Earth I would buy a supercar from. Or indeed ANY car.
Ahh good ol keighley trade centre. Absolutely the last place you would want to by a car from.

Are they aftermarket alloys? Also the Brabus badge on the rear and the Mercedes seat belt cushion things knock at least 5k off the price.

Also has he added chrome it just looks a bit chavified?

Is only one of the rear seats heated? That sort of rarity has to be worth a premium.

Both rear seats are heated by one button. They're not individual.

You're making the assumption that selling used cars for profit is their primary business.

that's a crazy price. I remember once when i was a little kid in the 90s i took a ride in a family friends car that was like that. green on the outside with cream leather inside. to me it felt like the most luxourious thing ever. there was also a e3 coonvertible that lived on a road behind my school, again green with cream leather, i lusted at it.

He likes using the word 'exceptional' in his advert. He has used it to describe most aspects of the car. 10 times infact.

Exceptionally st, old car.

No expert on these, but shouldn't this be more like 2k - especially without an engine rebuild?

Not 100% sure but isn't the R3 the desirable one? Had a stronger engine less likely to require rebuilds? No expert myself but sure I read that somewhere?
