Hard to ever buy from a person who spells the manufacturer's name incorrectly.
That's usually a good chance to buy for a decent price on auctions as not many people find the car.
In this instance, its just another reason the car won't sell at all.

Second hand Dacias.
I have a bit of a soft spot for the Duster and was expecting residual values to plummet in the way old Eastern Block Ladas, Skodas, Yugos, and FSOs used to.
It never happened.

So it was brand new when it was involved in the shooting (1996) - and now has 121,043 miles, yet its never been displayed or sold since.

Certainly piled some miles on it.

Bit of filler and some polish, I don't even mind the wheels too much. £5K?

And no matter how it's driven, it always gets 17 MPG.

Your paying for the history, not the car. Don’t think this is the right thread as he had/has a huge following who would pay stupid money for the history of it.

2003 MINI Cooper Automatic, last MOT'd in 2008 with 66k miles on it. One of these in daily use will probably set you back £2k at most with those miles, these guys are asking £7500 eek It's not even got Pepper Pack, it's a very basic car (if in a rare shade of Velvet Red).

All of their stock appears to have been sat forever, and priced at the time and subsequently never aligned with the market. A MINI that's been sat for nearly 10 years is going to require a lot of work.

Their listings are still live on Car And Classic, so they're definitely still for sale.

Well it's had no tax or MOT since 2009...

Apparently (incredibly) this 12 year old example has 2 years remaining of the manufacturers warranty remaining!

The classic Minis look far more sensibly priced, so I'm not sure why they're sitting on these crazy expensive BMW ones.

Bloody hell that’s closely parked.

The fact that it’s been sitting for <10 years without even what seems to be a start up really warrants that price.

I feel bad for it even though it’s just a piece of metal. I wouldn’t mind one of those.... it would make a nice little runabout for me or somebody else frown

I think we might have a thread winner, a 240k mile Subaru Legacy Outback for £60k. I know it's the 3 litre version, but they couldn't even be bothered to clean the whole thing wink

Hugely overpriced Subaru here

The wording of the ad is wonderful.

biggrinbiggrin

Mate, if some random 'Triggers Broom' Davinci is worth £400mil, that's worth every penny of the £60k. Ha ha.

I cannot decide if that's a serious ad or not - it's listed in the 'art' category, so may be...

I was tempted whether he would wash the other half of the car for asking price..
