not even a factory Ruf. I'm someone will buy it. It must be easy money these types of cars are bought purely as investments.
Time to put a few early Boxster's, Cayman's and 996's away I think. If only I could even afford them.

Nice Mondeo ST24 here. Ad says only 4000 miles.

Still.. £9k?

The advert hurts my head. Did he really need to mention the mileage so much in the description?

Have to agree, maybe twice would do. It looks a lovely car, but realistically who would want one?

That mondy was mentioned in this very same thread back in October when it was on ebay with a closer to £10k asking price. Page 32 of the thread, assuming you've got the same settings as me.

I don't see the problem with that tbh it's pretty much a 1/1 car I guess?

To be fair, look at the Cortina, and the Sierra. I remember when the XR4x4 was SOTW.

I Just didn't think the ST24 was desirable enough for anyone to pay that sort of money yet, even if basically unused.

Might be a future collector's item though.

Do you think we should all start asking how many miles the car has done, and is it any more than mentioned in the ad yet? biggrin

Think this would be a much better bet for an investment

I actually remember these handling really well in a drift heavy kind of way! Mate of mine used to swing his parent’s 360 glt sideways around most roundabouts.

Charm, well it’s subjective but I quite like it.

Seriously overpriced, most definitely.

They were real wheel drive?!

I never knew that. Although I’m sure I saw a few on the rally scene back in the day.

A garage in Crowle in Lincolnshire has a W reg Golf for sale at £2295. Not sure which model of golf it is but I didn't think an 18 year old one was worth that much.

They're not really. Unless it's a very nice 1.8t GTI, the anniversary edition, or 2.8 V6 4motion, in which case it's a reasonable price.

The only Mk4 golf worth any real money is the R32, and you won't find them going for £2295 that's for sure.

I assume you mean this one:

http://www.rnicholsonmotors.co.uk/used-car/volkswa...

At least it's a decent write up by the seller explaining what he's done to it.

Maybe the seller has a dodgy number 9 on his laptop that types the number twice when you only press it once
