But until it's read, it's not known if it was worth reading or not.

Although now, when people see your name they'll know not to even start reading.

You know I don't think it is smile People don;t have to read what's posted do they? No? Good, then nobody has to fret about any wasted time smile
You wasted the time of the dealer, the time of people on here and your own time too. Well done.

But the Focus is the spiritual successor to the Sierra Cosworth RS500 so surely a future classic and worth every penny. winkroflpaperbag

His time is cheap, that's why he can spend hours prepping cars for a hundred quid or so.

114,000 miles and looks like it has been stood for 20 years. Bargain...

When you can get a running, MOT'd one for < £10k that is absolute crack-pipe pricing.

Messaged him saying I'd offer £750 for it, not that I wanted it, just to see his response.
Sadly, this seems to be the done thing these days.

I'm not even sure when it started... perhaps when adverts became more accessible online to the pond life armed with smart phones.

My contempt for such types knows no end.

It's a 3.8 Spyder, limited run of a few hundred, open top version of a GT4. Great car that will appreciate in value.

There are several for sale around the £80k mark. I don’t believe them to be ‘just’ a Boxster. I think that’s like saying a GT2 RS 911 is ‘just’ a 911.

fiat uno turbo, has been welded extensively including from what i can see some fairly amateurish work.It has bashes and scratches and the bumper doesnt sit properly, it also needs re-comissioning as it has been stood 4 years and the clutch is slipping, all this can be yours for £9000 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fiat-uno-Turbo-mk-2-690...

Lovely thing. Not 15k worth of lovely though. I note it's been for sale for over six months.

Yes, it's low mileage. Yes, it's apparently in sparkling nick.

Yes, it's a 1997 Mk3 Golf GTI 8v. For FIVE GRAND.

There are a couple of others below at similar money, can’t see they’ll sell, I quite liked the Mk3 we had a 1.8 GL, couple of Gti’s And two VR6’s back in the day, but they’re not rated amongst the VW community. A bit flabby and unexceptional

I've had four Mk3 GTIs, two 8v and two 16v. Even a mint low-mileage 8v shouldn't be stretching the boundaries of 2K. There's a 20th Anniversary 16v (now they are worth a bit more) for sale on the same page and even that's only £3500. That 5K one is just mental.

I always found the 16v a hoot to drive. I definitely wouldn't call it flabby ... the 8v, yeah well...
