Just about everything that this seller is selling on Ebay!

Add auction fees in and any expenses, that doesn’t leave much margin even in its ‘serious overpricing’.

Was sold in Sept at auction for ~11K
I think the 11K includes Buyers Premium (was 10% at the time) so just add £200 VAT +petrol + Ebay/Ads

The market appears quite buoyant on these cars - W124 Cabrios - so I don't feel it's massively over-priced - JMHO!

TBH, most of the 'classic car' dealers bump the price up by alot more

Ok, it's a while since I looked at the prices of 124 Convertibles...last time I looked 220 weren't going for anything like that money with those miles but I'll concede that I'm out of touch.

What I'm not out of touch with though is E31 BMWs and there is no way that 850i is worth anything like £38.5K.

LOL !

105,000 miles too !

Love an Alpina, love an E46, B3’s are going for under £10,000 for an excellent example and B3S £15000, but £27500 when you can pick up the cleanest, lowest mileage, B3S for £18995 before haggles rofl

Just about a 100% mark up over a standard car, and just about 100% ruined. eek

That is absolutely rancid. It's the automotive equivalent of Jordan.

Yep, quite agree,
That particular car failed to sell at auction (Silverstone) a year ago with a low estimate of £20K ...

Thats actually been quite considerably reduced from its first advertised price. Amusing.

£17K for an unfinished replica:

It can't be worth that, surely?

'Rancid' sounds like it ought to be a tuning (bolt on tat) brand.

He's selling a few pretendy vulgar MR2s. All with "////////////" and "\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" in the title field, maybe it's some homoerotic thing

That's a £250 plate but with two strategically placed white capped bolts it's a £500 plate. Genius.
