Looks to be a Paramount Performance example, you think they would mention this in the advert.

Am I the only one here who thinks that if you’re selling a ‘classic’ or ‘future classic’ for silly money, you should at least sort things like rust out? 4 grand, wouldn’t pay 40 quid for that, actually I’d pay 100 pounds to not drive it for a day.

That's an ugly old run of the mill escort, with plastic wood trim. £1k on a good day with a fair wind

Ain't the case with a lot of overpriced Fords in the current climate?

What's going on with the bonnet? Looks like a right heap. Plus I'm fairly certain no-one is going to get misty eyed enough about that era of Escort for it ever to be a valuable classic!

It has a Ford badge, it'll be worth at least something one day. Even though it's absolutely awful

It looks like they initially forgot to fit an engine, then having noticed their error dropped in the only one left, which happens to come from a motorised rickshaw.

Likely because the VR6 wasn't a V6 wink

Wasn't it? The R32 and the VR6 were both sixes I thought?
