Can't make my mind up.

£15k for a 1994 LSE Rangey.

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/l...

Not sure that is quite in the collectors category yet

While doing my usual search for MX5's/Eunos on eBay I came across this
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MAZDA-EUNOS-COSMO-RX7-20...

Is it really worth 11k?

Its worth what someone will pay for it unlike an mx5 there aren't many of these around so if your want one you have to pay for it.

They must be rare I cannot find another one for sale. There is a garage in Queensferry has the older one in the showroom like this one

A CSK is pretty rare and a limited production run.

The LSE is a Japanese import, they rarely come with any history and I'll leave you to see what kind of feedback that garage has. There was a thread on here about them not so long ago.

Although they're probably both overpriced by about 50% biggrin

£125,000 for a restored E Type i saw recently is absurd imo. I had a Mark 3 Coupe V12 5.3 and other than it's looks it was pretty awful if i am honest. It was my childhood dream car. Millionaire looks, a V12 engine with a huge capacity, everything. When i finally got my hands on one i was 32 but it felt slow, the brakes were terrible, the handling scary and the interior was crap. The thing was forever going wrong which apparently falls under the heading of 'character'. Anyway any E Type these days is silly money, especially the Million-Quid new ones. Total joke.

Until you drive the car in question you never know.
I had the same thought about my choice, would have sold it if was not happy with the drive.

Looking around the classic car market, nothing else puts a smile on my face.
Even walking into the garage I think WOW its mine still.

There was a pretty similar slating of the Miura by an ex-owner in one of the Classic Car mags earlier this year. His summary was, rubbish driving position, scary handling/front-end lift, engine heat cooked you etc....

Nice to look at though and worth a fortune

£612,000 seems like a huge amount of money for a 575 (even a Superamerica)

Recently sold at Bonhams.

I had a 1.7 Litre manual as my first car. It was horrid. Dog slow, no power steering, heavy, handled like a tank and drove like one too. As a 1.4L Automatic it must be truly awful.

Plenty of 4.2 LSE Range Rovers were sold in the UK through Land Rover dealers!

The classic car market isn't about driving the things. Values are entirely derivative of future expected values. You don't buy an E-Type to drive it, and you wouldn't want to.

It's a shame how right you are.
