Did no one tell him that the st modifications make it worth less, not more? can anyone point me in the direction of the dealer that is specializing in BMW E46's and putting them up at crazy prices, it was on here but with over 200 pages I cant find it (its not Munich legends but they are in the South) thanks (need this for a friend who is having to argue the value as his 330 is being written off and the insurance offer is not very good at all).
thanks if you can help....

It doesnt look to have been modified. It's a 507 Ltd edition, so came supplied new with that bonnet and side stripes amongst other stuff. It might be worth about 32k.
59k is a joke.
Maybe it's his wife who wants him to sell it. "Sorry luv, I tried but it's a funny time of year to be selling cars"

Presumably that's £995 for the car and £19,000 for the plate? And did they really keep the price below £20k to make it look cheaper
I know these are expensive and will only go up but £97k really?

Seems like once they had actually restored it they decided the price should be more like £80k

To be fair it’s having a full nut and bolt restoration. There’s a doggy e28 M5 on eBay for 55k and I bet all the usual suspects on that car will need doing. https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C703481

I might just not be able to see appreciate how things will pan out in the future, however I just can't see 80's and 90's cars appreciating in value like the 50's and 60's cars did.https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C703481

For example 60's Mercedes and Aston Martin had completely different premium materials (real wood, metal and leather) which you simply don't get in modern cars, it makes the ownership/driving experience something special.
But a 1980's M5 has just a worse version of everything we get in modern day cars.
I may just being short-sighted, but I really don't see these cars increasing in value beyond what they already are now.

£3,500 for a 1985 Astra 1.3 with only 7 miles on the clock but numerous bits missing.
Is this the right thread for this? Who knows?

£3k for a Vectra B with 171k on the clock. Advert is a right good laugh as well.

I think, if you put that on Facebook market place for 800 pounds, you’d struggle to sell it, someone will offer you 500 max https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2001-Vauxhall-Vectra-2-...

507 Editions are rare and the saloon is the rarest of them, but coupes are generally £35-40k, a touch more if still an MB AUC. £60k is absolutely barking though as that'll bag you a 2019 demo with a handful of miles: https://stock.mercedes-benz.co.uk/used/vehicle-det...What do we think guys?

Quite often not as it often suggests a delusional seller who thinks it's genuinely worth that. Despite the market saying otherwise.
How does the market factor in low mileage and dry storage (never been out in winter) will condition add to the value or is it just book says £xxxk mate?Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
