£80K + buyers premium.... but I can't see it can be viewed as over priced when it did sell and there was obviously an unhappy under bidder....
Bidding was strong for it, I think it was going up in £1000 increments and the last bidder jumped it by £3000 and other bidders bailed out at that point. I can see that being up for sale at circa £100k if it was a trader that bought it

The most common cause of frustration on Faceache for this was the fella leaning on the spoiler!

I think you hear someone ask for £500 increase at about £77k the auctioneer refuses it and the other bidder just chucks an £80k bid in killing the other buyer. biggrin

i sometimes have a drink opposite GC motors where they sell those minis for 28k.
the absurd price tags and the dodgy mucky massage parlour next door are nearly enough to put me off my pint!

You can see the quality oozing from that boot install.

The seller needs a visit from the drug squad he’s clearly smoking too much laugh

That's meant to be £1,950...right?

Love to see how much you can trade it in for after you've paid that price...probably £1,950!

Unmolested, low mileage, excellent examples of Anniversary GTIs are worth good money - not close to £19.5k but good money.

If anyone pays anything close to that they’re off their meds!

Maybe, maybe not. I’d does have some nice ‘Rapid’ brand tyres on it. Must be really quick.

Now THAT is what this thread is about. A pure "WTF were they thinking" moment, not some old snotter that's £200 more expensive than the next one.

When I see that kind of asking price for something like that I just assume it's not a genuine business but simply a money laundering operation.

The most shocking bit of the advert in the first line...

VW GOLF GTI 25th ANNIVERSARY, 16,000 miles, new engine fitted at 94,000, 112,000 on the clock,
£19,500 for a car with 16,000 miles would be considered scandalously overpriced (in my opinion) but it's actually a well used example and there is another Golf Anniversary with 75k with it's original engine on Autotrader for £4750 which i think is much more realistic.

Not overpriced, but I didn't really know where else to post it. Look at the state of the front end, probably a crashed ex rental

Umm does look more like an air vent than a panel gap compared to others.

£20k for a W140 S500 with over 100k on the clock. What a ringpiece.

I at least find that desirable though, it's an S class. That ste fking Golf with special edition tat takes the ring piece award. One of the dullest most ubiquitous cars in the world.

Mismatched gaps and paint are the best way of funnelling more air into the frunk for extra downforce.
