I really don't think it's that bad. I do think however their choice of taking photos in a woodland area was not a good idea as it doesn't show the gold off in a good light.
are you the owner? It’s an old Bulgarian taxi with a godawful wrap for 67k
Obviously a stunning and ultimate example of a c20 Nova... but £25k?

215 views an hour is a lot! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/vauxhall-nova-c20let-sh...
Looks like a well engineered car, but £25k seems a lot. It'll never be a classic given how little is genuine.

Good friend used to build and work on the Group A rally ones - but underpowered compared to the rest of the field at that time

Not sure if this is the right place to post this as i guess it is worth it if some body is willing to pay that much but an SLS Black Series for £850k
Last time i remember seeing one for sale it was less than half that price

What a mad world we live in. Anything is only worth what somebody is willing to pay. But what's the point with this one, I class having well known people as a negative because it would probably have been looked after less than the average person (this being a good example, haha). Also, once something like this is restored it would have lost it's originality and once finished will never be driven on the road again (just somebody else's investment). Not a place I would put this sort of money into).Derelict Mini Cooper S sells for £20,000 at auction - Here’s why the car is worth so much

The're not actually saying that the famous people named (Twiggy, Enzo Ferrari, Mick Jagger, and The Beatles) all owned this specific car at some point.
They're just naming various famous people who all happened to be mini cooper owners.
So I'm assuming this particular car doesn't actually have any famous name connection.
In which case... utter, utter insanity.
We really are living in the equivalent of the final days of Rome.

Overpriced modern ‘classics’ are the norm now, but this caught my eye.....
A rare GTi, which I was not aware of. Fully stamped and a below average 108,000 miles. A slice of 80’s curiosity, perhaps... but a fiver under £10,000? Really?
Pop up headlights!
I remember it being relatively quick despite its modest 125bhp, or at least it seemed so to a 15 year old me. I seem to recall it had GT badges on it rather than GTI, but I could be mistaken.
I recall it developed an appetite for CV joints/driveshafts and Mazda struggling to supply the parts at the time.
By mid 1998 it was looking very sorry for itself, and was resting around the wheel arches, so the example in the advert has done remarkably well to survive a further 22 years.

My Brother in law had a black, H plate one of these in 1994, so it would have been just over 3 years old at the time.

A family friend had one. Used to go endlessly on about how it had the same chassis as an MX5 Pop up headlights!

Imagine telling people you'd spent £12.5k on this. They'd have you sectioned.
