I must be very out of touch sadly. I've had 11 Mercedes in my life and never thought of respraying one to up the value by a factor of 10. But thanks for letting me in the know. My current C204 estate is grey. What colour will bring the best price? I really must try harder next time.

A bloody lovely, 2004, 38k mile (Last of the 12 UK NSXs), red with black leather got bid to £85k last month at RM Sothebys, call it as near as dam it £100k with fees. (Did not sell)
So yes this pricing looks tasty

I would like Hartley to give examples of cars he's had to sell cheaply. He sounds more interested in trying to push down his buying prices. I bet he's not taking a 30% hit on his cars.

Any car I've been keeping at eye on for months has gone up in value. I'd love to see genuine examples of cars that have dropped 30%.

I’m sure I’ve seen a similar spec car ‘spotted’ by PH for around 100k before, how is it now half a million, I can see why they think it would be worth it if it had delivery miles but 10k miles? 12 years old, nearly average mileage for such a car.

I think the 599 is my favourite Ferrari...and I assumed that was a GTO when I first saw it but it appears not.
