You’re all a bunch of knobs thinking you’re all merc experts. Cars like these are going up because they’re rare! Might look st in pictures but you when you seen them on the road I reckon all of you low life keyboard warriors look at them then look on eBay to buy one and you wait prices will be going up higher every 10 years. So enjoy ranting for another 10 years lol
Hear that? That's the sound of your phone not ringing since nobody wants to pay £15k for your st car. Is the keyboard warrior the one agreeing with everyone else that a car is st, or the one signing up to an internet forum to call them all knobs and low-lifes?

I must be very out of touch sadly. I've had 11 Mercedes in my life and never thought of respraying one to up the value by a factor of 10. But thanks for letting me in the know. My current C204 estate is grey. What colour will bring the best price? I really must try harder next time.

Perhaps the Paul Smith Mini colour scheme might be your answer smile

Then amazingly lost a load of miles
Between 2006-10 the mileage sat unchanged at 219,036, then on the next MOT in 2015 it suddenly had 171,653 nono

I wonder if Mercuk is Andyspro?

I read Mercuk’s post (though it really should be MercUK at least, if not MercU.K.) and genuinely thought it was parody.

I get that NSX's are rare, but surely this is overpriced?

A bloody lovely, 2004, 38k mile (Last of the 12 UK NSXs), red with black leather got bid to £85k last month at RM Sothebys, call it as near as dam it £100k with fees. (Did not sell)
So yes this pricing looks tasty

Given the current market, pretty sure someone will pay that. Looks lovely.

That really is lovely. If I was worth a few mil I really would pay that to add it to the collection.

Dealers report huge drop in luxury used car prices in 2020

https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/industry-news/d...

Prices of some of the UK’s most desirable cars have nosedived throughout 2020 as the pandemic continues to hit the top end of the market hardest, according to dealers.

Car Dealer magazine reports that supercar and luxury car sellers are facing a combination of “desperate” owners looking to offload their cars cheaply and opportunist buyers pushing prices down by around 30% over last year......continues

I would like Hartley to give examples of cars he's had to sell cheaply. He sounds more interested in trying to push down his buying prices. I bet he's not taking a 30% hit on his cars.

Any car I've been keeping at eye on for months has gone up in value. I'd love to see genuine examples of cars that have dropped 30%.

I’m sure I’ve seen a similar spec car ‘spotted’ by PH for around 100k before, how is it now half a million, I can see why they think it would be worth it if it had delivery miles but 10k miles? 12 years old, nearly average mileage for such a car.

I'd be surprised if a trade magazine got it so wrong. They'd get hell from their subscribers.

I think the 599 is my favourite Ferrari...and I assumed that was a GTO when I first saw it but it appears not.
