'Worth' is subjective, but it's the going rate for one of 49 RHD cars produced, you can always save 50% by going for the much more common coupe of which there are about 250 in the UK. https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/list//458+speciale...
This surely must qualify?
A near 20 year old Boxster with almost 100,000 miles on the clock.
£28,000!!

It's an 'ultra rare' special edition apparently. I'm not an expert on Porsches, but it looks like that means black wheels and bits of black trim.

Not saying that this is great value but the 70th Anniversary cars are Porsche backed restorations with many new and refurbished components and the car comes with a 12 month Porsche warranty. https://www.pistonheads.com/news/ph-driven/porsche...

I'd say the last owner spent a few £££'s on it, there's certainly a bit more to it than the Porsche dealers advert says. Didn't sell on here though, wonder what it reached?

I know others have hinted at this, but as a 1 of 10 Porsche GB 'restoration' vehicle I'd say this is actually a reasonable price. Sit on it for a few years and you'll make your money back and then some. Previous owners counts for bugger all in the grand scheme since it's allegedly returned to pretty much factory by Porsche GB as part of the process.A near 20 year old Boxster with almost 100,000 miles on the clock.

Sit on it for a few years and it'll just be yet another old tatty Porsche worth a few grand.
Good luck to anyone who gets suckered in by the respray and a few new bits of tat stuck to it, and a number.

I don't disagree with any of you, but I am coming at this from the view of 'because Porsche'. If they can find buyers for 'special edition' 911's, then surely this is no different? Regardless, it's still a 1-of-10 official Porsche product. And like everything in this entire thread, it's not about what we think it's worth - it's about what the right buyer thinks it's worth.
330 Spyder or Anniversary editions of the Box go for a premium - this is no different.
Note - Don't think for one minute that I would pay that money for it. But then I'm a bit in the huff with Porsche pricing at the minute anyway.

Rubbish. You can pick up the same car with lower mileage and fewer owners for about £8k. There is nothing on earth that makes this worth anywhere near twenty eight thousand pounds.
I agree that it seems poor value at £28k, but it absolutely is not in any way the same as the £8k Boxsters out there. Fully refurbished, many new parts, full Porsche warranty for a start - I don't mean the "1 of 10" tinsel.Ari said:
It's an old bog standard car, tarted up by a dealer (not even the factory). A very different thing from an ultra rare factory produced special vehicle.

And note the 'for sale on behalf of a customer' - does that mean none of the usual checks/standards and warranty of an approved car?Sit on it for a few years and it'll just be yet another old tatty Porsche worth a few grand.
