That's a weird one, isn't it. I wonder who the market is for it. It's a bizarre (run-out?) special edition with a stupid name, aimed at people who can afford a chauffeur, but want to save maybe 20k by not buying a new one. I wonder how much each of the 1,400 miles it's done have actually cost. And if someone else is doing the driving, how much do you care that it's a V12? And if you're an upwardly mobile private hire firm that's inexplicably buying one of these rather than leasing, presumably you'd rather it was run in, and/or still in warranty. Odd. I do have some sympathy for whoever had to set the price. epom said:

Can't find specifics from a quick Google but the 2017 on M760Li that replaced it is apparently £132k. So well into six figures seems plausible. Something like £45k for 1500 miles just in depreciation. Bloody hell.
And then some. Autocar suggests that they were £158,00 new so it has halved in price - £54 depreciation per mile!https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-review/bmw/7-series/...

I’d say that BM was seriously overpriced when new but now, with its FIFTY GRAND worth of extras, it’s a steal if you had the money, wanted to spend that money on a car and wanted unlimited opulence, all three of which I don’t! Someone else has taken the massive hit. Yes, it’s a lot of money but small change if you can afford it.
I would be embarrassed to drive it but plenty won’t.
Question is: what did Bramley pay for it, or is it a commission job?

As replicas go this one at least looks pretty good on the outside, but £38k buys a serisuly nice car where you don't have to either lie to everyone or tell them you spent almost 40k on an old MR2 wearing a whole lot of fibreglass.
The interior looks a mess.

V6 Mustang Coupe , just under £17,000
This is not a rare car in any way shape or form.
Bonkers price!
Bought my same year V8 for the same price with only 7k more miles!
And mine is a drop top....

Have we really reached a point where a completely rotten Capri is worth nearly 8 grand?

F me!! I know I'm going back a bit, but my cousin had one like this he paid £50 for (no joke) and ended up being scrapped once he was able to get something that didn't have chunks of rust fall off every time you closed the door. How times have changed!!!https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/384079562890
"SPARES REPAIRS RESTORATION"
That phrase obviously doesn't represent the low price it used to.
How much would you pay for a 30 year old (albeit well preserved) diesel Merc with 300k miles on the clock?

I don't know if it's just clever framing of the pictures but that Merc's interior looks in staggering condition for that mileage.
It does look fantastic... None of the buttons worn even...carlove said:

Not that much. I do love Mercs of that era though. A garage who have done some work on my car and van before had an estate for sale a while back - a stunning old thing but I missed out on the chance to buy it. Tracked down who did buy it and hoping to get my hands on it one day!DaveyBoyWonder said:
