Again, he's looked at other retail money cars from dealers and made an assumption that's how it works. Utter madness. Be a nice buy for £7k.

Have a gander at some of the other ste he's selling and it'll shed some light on why he isn't scared of chancing.

Want to buy "TA11 LES" for £5,000? How about "M155 WTF" for £10,000?

"RS06 MMM" is also yours for the low price of £5,000. I mean, you could buy any of the other 174 "RS06" plates from the DVLA for £250, but surely they are not as attractive as MMM.

How about a sculpture of a plastic rabbit that looks like it's been scraped off the side of the A1M? Only £600.

Good God. Get a grip Les.
He's definitely a bit deluded, his poverty spec civic looks well expensive too

I hate adverts like that, OTT bks

He's been stung and had to pay out over £2K in repairs in the last year and he's trying to recoup that with his long winded advert.

He can see into the past and guarantee none of the previous owners smoked in it, whilst also seeing into the future that every other Ibiza's turbo and power steering will fail. It must be Dr who selling it.
I’d knock on the door and offer a cheeky bid. He’s been sat on a car he probably hates for months. His missus will be nagging at him that he hasn’t sold the car yet, and the cash will no doubt be needed for something else.

The worst he can do is tell you to fox trot oscar.....
Even stubborn and stupid people (the car has cost me £2,000, so i’ll increase the market value to get my money back) have a breaking point. Obviously all assumptions, but if you want the car then it’s worth a punt?

It's a great looking thing, but It looks like an 8v with all of 95bhp and a tow bar.
'the car is only drove (SIC) to the mot every year and back into the garage'

So he bought a car, just to drive it to the garage then? laugh

45k miles means he tookthe long way round though.

When I first posted it i was at £10500, then £10300, now just £10100, Let me know when he gets to £800.

You sure it’s not his sleeping bag because his wife kicked him out for modding a perfectly good diesel VRS…..

Send the link to Wayne Rooney. He's paid more than that for just one night with a battered old Granny.

Horrible example of a great car. Surely it's only worth what the engine is worth

I thought that - the engine is the bit you want. If you had something to put it in (not sure what it would fit - Cobra, Caterham...?) you'd probably drop up to £500 on it maybe? Certainly not £2k more than that.

I'm very out of touch. smile I'd rather have the one you linked...wouldn't be left with a knackered pile of scrap once I'd gutted it for the engine. wink

each gen of 3 series will become progressivly ever more collectable until you get to the giant bloated fake engine sounding twin clutch ones
