A unique vehicle, it's worth what someone prepared to pay
You could apply that to almost any low run car, doesn't mean it isn't over priced.

Looks like the one KGF Classics sold a little while ago. Can't be many in the same colour, automatic & in that condition around!

Priced at £15995 What about this 21 year's old and 6,146 Miles.....yikes and with Full BMW Dealer Service History.... That's less than 300 Miles a year...confused
I dont think it's too overpriced at all tbh
£16k for a 21 year old 330d is "not overpriced"?
£16k for the arguably most desirable 3 Series with the right engine and gearbox combo and 6k on the clock isn't overpriced at all. Knowing what some people in the E46 club pay for low mile examples, I'd be shocked if it isn't sold soon

Very, very, very arguably.

Manual 330d's aren't that rare, and "right" is quite subjective. I wouldn't want one, much less to pay £16k for it.

It really is.

It's not like its one of these delivery mile timewarp cars that you sometimes see advertised. At 6k it's been too used to ever hold that sort of value as a static, undriven curio. It doesn't even look that clean. And it's far too low mileage to actually drive. I don't see why anyone would buy it other than to boast that they had possibly the lowest non-delivery-mileage E46 330d in the world, which seems like a pretty odd niche.

All of the drawback of "super low mileage" with none of the actual benefits (if you can call "being an utterly undrivable curio" a benefit).

And it's been services 3 times in 21 years.

A small number of oddballs might be willing to pay £8k for 20k mile 330d's, but that doesn't mean they'll pay double that for one that's got 6k miles.

My guess is someone who absolutely loves their old e46 330d they bought new which finally died and want another as close to new as they can to run for another 20 years is the target market?

No, read the ad carefully. It's the MOT which is Racing Green. That is pretty novel!!

Not the sort of car we normally sell but we had around 2years ago a 22k mile green Proton. We advertised it at £1995. The phone didn't stop it was sold the very next day!

Imagine thinking that's worth more than a 10k mile F-Type R.

Pictures can deceive but those 2 of the nearside rear look as though the rear quarter and door don't match.
