£7,500 for a Vauxhall Nova Antibes, not astoundingly low mileage, and an MOT history which whilst not exactly horrific doesn't really suggest it's been cherished all it's life.

Plus bonus points for him implying he's a long term owner and reluctant private seller when he's obviously just another driveway dealer...

Has that been resprayed, look at picture 20 and you can see red paint.

I did not think you could get the Antibes in Grey, Red or Blue from memory.

Happy to be corrected but my dad had an Astra Antibes in blue.

Probably true, how long would it take to cut it up with an angle grinder and get a scrap collector to come for it?

Don't understand why he's saying 1983? It's on an "E" plate so must be 87/88..?

Link won’t load for some reason. The £18.6k 9-3, reduced from £20k! I like the 9-3 drop top but that’s seriously deluded money for one.

I know that place. Hardly ever see any punters in there and huge amount of cars on site. I hear they are allegedly not just good at cleaning their stock

Interesting.. Tell me more if you can hehe

I bought my old Mondeo from them! Years ago now. In hindsight the sales process was a bit sleazy and I should have walked away but the car itself was decent, the spec I wanted, and well priced.

Some from the newer end of the spectrum. A car with this VW dealer came up in my search and had a look at what else they have for sale.

Golf GTI for £49k

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202205075...

Petrol Passat with a whopping 150bhp for £50k

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202207037...

Tiguan with a Golf R engine for £60k

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202205195...

Petrol Toerag for £80k

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202207037...

I do wonder who on earth is buying these cars at this price regardless of how they are paying for it.

Can think of far better ways to spend £80,000 on transport.

And it 'has been owned by a Lord, businessmen and enthusiasts'. The three type of people I always look out for as previous owners.

Though my first thought when I saw Lord was of Jesus doing burnouts round the streets of Bethlehem, but then read that it's spent it's entire life in the UK.

internet search shows a bid of £40K in January was not enough to secure the car.

Pass the glue. £8k for a shed. Even if it has only done 1800 miles.
